Nov 06: USA - TOULOUSE

Nov 07: TOULOUSE – LOURDES (FRANCE)
Arrival at Toulouse Airport, meet and transfer by bus to Lourdes. Dinner and overnight. After dinner, join the traditional Candlelight Procession.

Nov 08: LOURDES
After breakfast, take a walking tour of Lourdes, a shrine that receives 5 million pilgrims from all over the world every year. The spirituality of the place touches everyone. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady, the Cave of the Apparitions, the tombs of the visionaries and a possibility to take a bath in the waters of the river. In the evening we will participate in the Candlelight procession. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Nov 9: LOURDES – ZARAGOZA (SPAIN)
After breakfast, leave through the Pyrinees mountains to Zaragoza, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain in the Province of Aragón. Arrive to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Nov 10: ZARAGOZA – BURGOS
After breakfast we will take a tour of the city to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar, Patron Saint of Spain which tradition goes back to the first century when St. James was asked by Virgin Mary to build a shrine in the city and gave him the Pillar (the first stone of the church). In the afternoon, continue to Burgos. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Nov 11: BURGOS – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. Guided tour to the Cathedral of Burgos, built in 1221 AD with French gothic architecture style and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. In the afternoon, continue to the Province of Galicia to the city of the Apostle James: Santiago de Compostela. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Nov 12: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – BRAGA (PORTUGAL)
After breakfast, visit the Cathedral dedicated to the Apostle St. James and which houses the tomb of the Saint. Walk through its old streets. Then continue crossing the Spanish-Portuguese borders to the city of Braga. If time permits, we will stop in TUI (Spain) for a visit where St. Lucia (one the visionaries of Fátima) lived for some time. Visit in Braga the Cathedral, the Church of Bon Jesus, the Shrine of Sameiro and the Church of the Holy Cross. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Nov 13: BRAGA – GUIMARAES – PORTO
After breakfast, leave to Guimaraes, which is a city in northern Portugal. It’s known for well-preserved medieval buildings like the hilltop, 10th-century Guimarães Castle, with its sweeping city views. The restored Dukes of Bragança Palace, built in the style of a French chateau, has a museum showcasing furniture, tapestries and weapons. Between the palace and the castle is the Romanesque São Miguel do Castelo Church, built in the 13th century. Continue to Porto, another coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Nov 14: PORTO – COIMBRA - FATIMA
After breakfast, leave for Coimbra and visit the Monastery of the Holy Cross, the University and the new church and burial place of Saint Elizabeth of Portugal. Continue to Fatima. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Nov 15: FATIMA – LISBON
After breakfast a guided tour will include the Capelinha (Apparition Chapel), the Basilica which contains the tombs of the 3 visionaries, Bl. Jacinta, Bl. Francisco and Sr. Lucia, their homes and important sites where the apparitions of the Angel and Our Lady took place. Leave for Lisbon for a farewell lunch at FUZO RESTAURANT. A panoramic city tour of the capital of Portugal. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Nov 16: LISBON – USA
After breakfast, transfer to Lisbon airport to board your flight back home.
