September 9: USA – TEL AVIV

September 10: TEL AVIV
Arrive to Tel Aviv airport. Meet and assist. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

September 11: TEL AVIV – JAFFA – CAESAREA – HAIFA – NAZARETH
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Jaffa, an old port 0n the commercial road of Via Maris. Walk through
the ancient quarter and visit the Church of St. Peter. Continue through the Mediterranean coast to
Caesarea, an important roman port built by Herod the Great. It was the capital of the Palestinian
Roman Province and the residence of the roman procurators. Visit the roman theater and the remains
of the crusader city. Leave for Haifa, the major port and industrial capital. Ascend to Mount Carmel for
a visit to the Shrine of Stella Maris and enjoy a view of the bay and port of Haifa. Arrive to your hotel
in Nazareth. Dinner and overnight.

September 12: MOUNT TABOR – CANA OF GALILEE – NAZARETH
Breakfast at the hotel. Ascend by taxis to Mount Tabor for a visit to the Basilica of the Transfiguration
built over two earlier sanctuaries: byzantine and crusader. Descend and continue to Cana of Galilee,
the place of the First Miracle and visit the church that recalls this Evangelical event. The afternoon will
be entirely dedicated to visit Nazareth, starting with Mary’s well and a walk through the old streets of
the city till the Basilica of the Annunciation to visit the House of Mary, the Upper Basilica, the Holy
Family Church, and the remains of the ancient town. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

September 13: NAZARETH – JORDAN RIVER – JERICHO – DEAD SEA – BETHLEHEM
Breakfast and leave for Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Visit the archaeological site and view
Mount of Temptation. Continue to Jordan River and renewal of the Baptismal Vows. Visit the ruins of
Qumran and view the caves of the Scrolls. Transfer to the Dead Sea to enjoy a bath in its unique and
salty waters. Ascend to Bethlehem through the Judean Desert. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

September 14: BETHLEHEM – NEW CITY – EIN KAREM – THE ISRAEL MUSEUM
Breakfast and start our visit to the Church of the Nativity with the Birth Grotto, the Manger, the Chapels
of St. Joseph and St. Jerome and the Basilica of St. Catherine. Leave then to the Shepherds’ Field to visit
its natural caves and the rest of the byzantine monasteries. In the afternoon, visit the new city of
Jerusalem passing by the University and the Parliament Building for a stop at the Israel Museum where
the Dead Sea findings are exposed. Also visit the Model of Jerusalem from the first century. Return to
your hotel, dinner and overnight.

September 15: MOUNT OF OLIVES AND MOUNT ZION
After breakfast, drive to Mount of Olives for a visit to the Ascension Chapel and then to Pater Noster
Church. Walk down to the small Chapel of Dominus Flevit and enjoy a panoramic view of the Holy City
with all its major shrines. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane for a visit to the Church of Agony
(called also of All Nations) and Mary’s Tomb in the Josaphat Valley. In the afternoon, explore Mount
Zion: St. Peter in Gallicantu, David’s Tomb, the Last Supper Room (The Cenacle) and the Dormition
Abbey. Then entering Zion’s Gate, walk through the Cardo Maximum and the Jewish Quarter to the
Wailing Wall. Back to your hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight

September 16: OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
After breakfast, transfer to the Lions’ Gate and enter the Old City for a visit to St. Anne Church and the
Pool of Bethesda. Continue then walking through the Via Dolorosa (the Way of the Cross) to the Basilica
of the Holy Sepulcher for a detailed visit to Mount Calvary, the Holy Tomb and St. Helen Chapel. In the
afternoon, free time for rest and/or personal activities. It could be dedicated to walk one more time
through the narrow streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. Dinner at a typical restaurant with folkloric
dance show.

September 17: BETHLEHEM – TEL AVIV AIRPORT – USA
Breakfast. At the convenient and previously established time, transfer to Tel Aviv airport to board your
flight back home.
