18 AUGUST: TOULOUSE- LOURDES (110 MILES)

Arrival at Toulouse airport. Meet your tour escort and leave for Lourdes (approximately two hours). Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel.

19 AUGUST: LOURDES

After breakfast, take a walking tour of Lourdes, a sanctuary that welcomes 5 million pilgrims from around the world each year. The spirituality of the place touches everyone. Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady, the Cave of Apparitions and the possibility of bathing in the waters of the river. Dinner. Then participation in the torch procession. Overnight at your hotel.

20 AUGUST: LOURDES – TOULOUSE

Breakfast at the hotel in Lourdes. Departure to Toulouse (approximately 2 hours). In the afternoon, we will visit the Basilica of San Sernín, also known as the Basilica of San Saturnino de Tolosa, it is a Catholic temple in the city of Toulouse located in the French department of Haute Garonne. It is one of the emblematic buildings of the city, the largest Romanesque church in Occitan and the second oldest in all of France. We will also visit the Church of the Jacobins, the resting place of the theologian and philosopher Saint Thomas Aquinas since 1369 and where we will see his tomb. Then we will take a panoramic of the city of Toulouse and free time. Dinner and overnight in Toulouse.

21 AUGUST: TOULOUSE - ROCAMADOUR (104 MILES)- CAHORS (26 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in Toulouse. Departure to Rocamadour (approximately 2 hours). Dedicated entirely to the pilgrimage of the Black Virgin, this sanctuary located in the Alzou ravine brings together seven chapels and churches, of which the Basilica of Saint Sauveur (declared a world heritage site) and the Chapel of Notre Dame stand out. Transfer to CAHORS, dinner and overnight.

22 AUGUST: ROCAMADOUR - BRIOUDE (112 MILES)- LE PUY EN VELAY (30 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in CAHORS. Departure to Brioude. (approximately 3 h and a half). In the
afternoon, we will visit the Basilica of Saint Julian, the largest Romanesque church in Auvergne. It was
classified as a historical monument of France, part of the country’s first list of historical monuments in
1840. Dinner and overnight in LE PUY EN VELAY.

23 AUGUST: LE PUY EN VELAY – LYON (68 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in LE PUY EN VELAY. Departure to Lyon (approximately 2h and a half). Visit of
the Basilica Notre-Dame de Fourvière: a minor basilica of Catholic worship. It was built with private
funds between 1872 and 1896 on a hill overlooking the city as a mark of the triumph of Christian values
over the socialist ones of the Lyon commune of 1870. Like the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur in Paris, its
unusual design, by Pierre Bossan, takes elements of Romanesque and Byzantine architecture.
Among its attractions are its mosaics, the beautiful stained-glass windows and the crypt of San José. It
has about 1.5 million tourists visits in a year. In the afternoon, we will do a panoramic of the city seeing
the main attractions. Dinner and overnight at your selected in Lyon.

24 AUGUST: LYON – ARS SUR FORMANS (16 MILES) – LA SALETTE FALLAVAUX (98MILE)

Breakfast at the hotel in Lyon. Departure to Ars-sur-Formans (approximately 1 hour) where we will visit
the Basilica of Ars, a religious building classified as a historical monument. The current building was
built in the second half of the 19th century on the remains of an old site from the 12th century. It houses
the relics of Saint John Mary Vianney.
In the afternoon, departure to La Salette Fallavaux, a Marian apparition reported by two French
children, Maximin Giraud and Mélanie Calvat, to have occurred at La Salette-Fallavaux, France, in
1846. On 19 September 1851, the local bishop formally approved the public devotion and prayers to Our
Lady of La Salette. On 21 August 1879, Pope Leo XIII granted a canonical coronation to the image now
located within the Basilica of Our Lady of La Salette. A Russian-style tiara was granted to the image,
instead of the solar-type tiara used in the traditional depictions of Our Lady during her apparitions.

25 AUGUST: LA SALETTE FALLAVAUX - NEVERS (205 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in La Salette. Departure to Nevers (approximately 4 hours).
In the afternoon, we will visit the sanctuary of Saint Bernadette, an old convent and the mother house of
the Sisters of Charity of Nevers and it is where the body of Saint Bernadette rests. Dinner and overnight
at your selected hotel in Nevers.

26 AUGUST: NEVERS - LISIEUX (220 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in Nevers. Departure to Lisieux (approximately 4hours).
In the afternoon, we will visit The Basilica of Saint Therese of Lisieux, a Catholic church and a minor
basilica dedicated to Saint Therese of Lisieux. It can accommodate 4.000 people, and, with more than
two million visitors a year, it is the second most visited pilgrimage site in France, after Lourdes. Pope
John Paul II visited the basilica on June 2, 1980. Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel in Lisieux.

27 AUGUST: LISIEUX - PARÍS (110 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in Lisieux. Departure to Paris. (approximately 2 hours).
In Paris we will do a panoramic bus tour of Paris where we will discover the mythical places and
monuments of the city such as the Champs Elysées, the Opera Garnier, Tour Eiffel and Notre-Dame of
Paris. Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel in Paris.

28 AUGUST: PARÍS – MONTMARTRE- PARIS (5 MILES)

Breakfast at the hotel in Paris. Excursion to Montmartre. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart surprises
with its Byzantine style. Built at the end of the 19th century and located in the heart of Montmartre, the
Sacred Heart has the privileged setting of painters, sculptors and poets of all times. Montmartre Hill
also offers impressive views of Paris. Boat trip on the Seine River.

Rest of the afternoon free time to continue enjoying the Parisian capital and do some shopping

29 AUGUST: PARÍS – USA

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport to board your flight back to the USA.
Observations
1. There will be daily Holy Mass. We will set the schedule based on the itinerary, when it is most
convenient.
